Troubleshooting Instagram downloads
- It says the video requires a login
- The account is private or Instagram is hiding the post from anonymous visitors. Only public Reels and posts can be downloaded.
- A post with several photos and videos only gives one video
- Posts with multiple items are listed as a carousel; the first video is selected.
- The link stopped working
- The post may have been deleted, or Instagram may be rate limiting requests. Wait a minute and try again.
- Can I download Stories or private reels?
- No. They need a login, and we never ask for your password.
Tips for saving Instagram videos
- Copy the link with Share, then Copy link inside the Instagram app.
- Vertical Reels are saved without cropping.
- Credit the creator when you share and never repost content as your own.

Do I need to log in to Instagram?
No - and you should never enter your password on a downloader site. Only public videos can be downloaded.
Why does my Instagram link not work?
The account may be private, the post may have been deleted, or Instagram may be temporarily limiting requests. Try again in a minute.
Can I download Reels?
Yes, public Reels are supported.
Is the downloaded quality the original?
